Group therapy

Beyond the benefits of support and experiencing multiple perspectives on shared issues and progress, group therapy provides a powerful “network effect.” The wisdom of the Japanese proverb “None of us is as smart as all of us” emerges in the group therapy setting.

The current group offering by Jaime at Welcome Suggestions is “Anxie-TEA,” offered as both a virtual and in-person group. This 6-session group provides members with the opportunity to both learn and practice techniques, experiences, and attitudes (the “TEA” in Anxie-TEA) that make a real difference in living well in uncertain times. Each session also includes dedicated time for group members to process their experience of anxiety in a supportive and understanding environment. And yes, we also serve tea as part of the group experience!
